Chocolate Mint Copy Cat Clif Bars

Clif bars are absolutely one of my favorite snack bars. They fill me up and are utterly delicious. So naturally, Austin and I decided that we wanted to make our own version packed with our MusclePharm combat powder and some of our favorite ingredients. We threw together a bunch of raw ingredients and actually ended up making a super good protein(ish) bar. Each bar had about 8 grams of protein and was stuffed with delicious and healthy grains and nuts, all of our favorites.

There really weren’t any specific measurements, it all depended on how the bar was balanced in consistency. This was an extremely fun and daring way to make them, but there isn’t any other way. It made for a perfect fun-filled night in the kitchen and did not take long to make at all! We made our bars have an oatmeal base and it was primarily centralized around the mint flavored combat powder.

Coco Powder

Organic Honey

Peanut Butter

Whole Raw Natural Almonds

Dark Chocolate Chunks

Gluten Free Oatmeal

MusclePharm Mint Chocolate Combat Powder

Dash and splash of water and vanilla

A light white chocolate drizzle after the bars were cooked and cooled.

We pressed the mixture onto a pan, and baked it in the oven at 300 degrees for 5 minutes. Literally it should have the mixture and texture of a cliff bar. The we let the bars cool and finished them off with a white chocolate drizzle! They were an absolute hit and were the perfect snack for the trail or for a midnight treat!

This is most definitely the first of many copy cat clif bars!

  1. I am mostly Paleo, except a few supplements, do you think that subbing in Almond or Cashew Butter would work, as the Cliff Mint Bars are one of the biggest things I miss from switching to Paleo
